@geezerette I have not ever cut mine and they can be confusing but what is interesting is that even though both might be listed on the label the USPS cannot take UPS but UPS can take them even if for the USPS.  The only issue with that is if you want a receipt UPS cannot get generate a receipt with the USPS scanning code.  Somehow all of my returns end up where they should and credit given. Sorry that the original poster ran into this.  BUT also know that a lot of places today no longer have individual boxes in the front of their houses.  We have a community type of cluster of boxes that you cannot have USPS pick up.

@Seminole2  My UPS office won't take the prepaid QVC return label.  They said it is a USPS label, even though there is a UPS section in the label with a tracking number.

@Barkanyc  If you've never seen these labels or dealt with Q returns, the labels can be confusing.  If USPS and UPS are both on the label, I go to the post office.  If I only see UPS on the label, I go to the local UPS center.  And I've never had a problem doing that.

I needed to return a QVC purchase.  The return label was confusing. The top portion said: USPS (US Postal Service), the bottom portion said: UPS (United Parcel Service).

I was confused as to which service to use. The Customer Service rep said : EITHER.

So I cut off the USPS part and took the package to UPS. Oh no, they said, this is only a post office label.  I am disabled, walk with a walker, so any unnecessary errands are a problem,  I walked 6 blocks to UPS, and 6 back.  I was in a lot of pain and could not go home, repackage it, and walk to the post office.  I was livid.  So I called QVC and spoke to a supervisor.  She said to leave the package with my mail carrier and they would scan the new part of the label.  Obviously the CS person had no idea as to how to return and made up an answer.  I hope this helps anyone who had the same question.

@Barkanyc

PLEASE!  No need to ever go to the Post Office!  As others said, you can get a FREE mail pickup at your house using the label!

Schedule on line, place it where you specify.

You get a confirmation email when scheduled and another when they pick it up!

Do you have to cut those dual labels?

Wouldn't the UPS just scan their bar code and the USPS would scan theirs?

@geezerette

UPS won't take the package with a QVC label from customers.  Leave label as is and use USPS.

@NYCLatinaMe.  Must be a local thing because I've done it frequently.

Scan the QR code.

@Barkanyc  I had the same issue. I tried twice and my  small town UPS outlet in a local Hardware store REFUSED the return label and told me to goto the P.O. I gave up and trucked into the OLD PO with the steep steps. Luckily my returns are damaged or wrong item sent, so few returns. I just go to the P.O. as the result is the same.

Several posters have mentioned one can request pick up at your residence. Perhaps check It  out. It sounds like a good option for you as difficult to walk distances. It must have been awful? Some CS are not coached well.

I wonder if it's the specific UPS office you're going to @NYCLatinaMe .  I've used the labels many times at UPS offices and the mail type places in the city, the Bronx and Westchester.  Don't cut the label just drop it off.

wouldn't it be nice if QVC did a video of how to return a pkg and which label to use. It might seem like a simple thing but it's not when it's this confusing. They could help a lot of customers, if they did this.

Yes it would be nice.  Oh wait....

I got one of those as well. The UPS had to fix it. My husband took in, and it was confusing. The UPS blacked out part of it. This is the only one I have had. I had 3 returns. Rare indeed for me.

however, I had to return a Jenny and me pair of pants for exchange in size. And I got a return label. The old ones!!!  Just stick on and forget it. I was so excited, no printer, taping etc

       I had the same problem.  I tried to explain to the UPS person that according to QVC you can mail at either place but they said it had to go through the post office.?

I haven't returned anything in years. Back then it was do simple. All I did was leave the package in the mailbox with the QVC or HSN label, put the flag up and that was it.

I just checked the return labels for things that I ordered and I didn't see a problem.
