One time when I thought I could use UPS to return my package, I brought the package to them and was told it was for USPS. On the website, it stated you could use UPS. They said they would take it but give no receipt. I then drove to USPS and dropped off my package.

This past week, I just left my packages in my mailbox and they were picked up. Much easier and no hassle.

@elated.  If you want proof you returned the pkg and it  was not stolen from your mail box, you need to go through the formal pick up procedure.  They'll email you a receipt.

@Kachina624  I don't know why you tagged me. I have never had a package stolen. I was just re!aying my experience with UPS one time. I know how to track my packages. It tells information on the website. I That is my receipt. I know about the form you need to fill out but it doesn't work with my area. I have been told to leave in mail box.

@elated. People have gotten so snappy on this board, I really am not enjoying participating anymore.   Pardon me for suggesting you might want a receipt.

Do you have to cut those dual labels?

Wouldn't the UPS just scan their bar code and the USPS would scan theirs?

@geezerette

UPS won't take the package with a QVC label from customers.  Leave label as is and use USPS.

@NYCLatinaMe.  Must be a local thing because I've done it frequently.

Scan the QR code.

@Kachina624  I think they would taken it if I paid for the shipping.  But I wanted to use the prepaid label.

@NYCLatinaMe.  When I used the QR code, ups makes the label and wraps it but I was just charged the standard $6.95 which was deducted from my refund.

Hi @Kachina624

I think we are chatting about different things.  I have not gone to UPS with a QR code from QVC, and have not posted about that.  I was posting about using a qvc return label.  I have not used QR codes for QVC returns, just the labels.  In my posts, I tried to be explicit that I was referring to qvc labels, because that is what the op posted about, that she was confused by the label, which I have found confusing as well.  If she had had a QR code, she wouldn't have cut the label because she wouldn't have had it.

@NYCLatinaMe.  This whole thread has gotten unnecessarily complicated considering how simple it is using the QR code you get on the website and for which you don't even need any label.  I was in and out of ups in 2 minutes.
