Bet this question hasn't been asked before(concerning debit card)

Husband lost billfold, had to replace all of our cards, got in bank cards today, 1 each for joint account and 1 each for my acc. To distinguish which is which I cut the corner of our joint acc card (always have, my question I accidently cut the corner where the strip is on mine maybe a little more a 1/4 inch of strip did I ruin mine, please tell me I didn't it took forever to finally get them back!!!!!!!
