I think "First 48" is the best reality show out there. It is real crime and real victims of the crime. For anyone not familiar, the show portrays homicide detectives in various cities from discovery of the body to usually solving the murder. They try to have good leads with 48 hours.

It is a scary commentary on how little life is valued by some.

I just watched an episode where several very young women planned to se*ually proposition a young man, get him out of his pants, and rob him of his wallet.

For some reason, a male arrives and shoots to death the robberty victim.

They bring in one of the females, age 15. They tell her the victim didn't have $6,000 as they thought, but had $300. The detective tells her they would have only gotten about $40 each for the robbery/murder. She says that.....well, that would be my phone bill.

This is how cheap life is to some. Watch the show, I recommend it.
