can any of you ladies recommend a wonderful place that is super relaxing...to plan a get away. I'd like to go perhaps to California or west part of the country. Not a romantic get away at all...just need to go somewhere and have a massage, some good food and beautiful surroundings. Pamper myself for one time in my life. I'd be alone...a week escape.

If you have any ideas please share! I do get lot's of Groupon ad's for places that sound like this but I don't know if those are legit or what.

Thank you {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

I went to La Costa many years ago. It was near San Diego. It was gorgeous and the food was great, spa was great, and it was a wonderful 5 days!

A friend goes to Canyon Ranch in Tucson AZ for a 3-4 weeks every year. I'm hoping that I can go for a week with her next winter.

We didn't go to outlets. They may not have been there when we were there in the 90's. I had a fantastic time.

Re: Best Resort/Spa Destination

My sister lives in Sedona. There are many beautiful resorts there. I am familiar with both L'Auberge and Amora, but I do not think you can go wrong with most resorts in the area. Trip Advisor is most helpful. It really depends on your budget.
