I would just take a sandwich and some fruit. Do they have a refrigerator? If not, get an insulated lunch bag and put in an ice pack.  It would be just as quick as a protein bar and more satisfying. It would be healthier.

You've received some alternative suggestions that I agree with.   You can't do better than hard cooked eggs.  They are a complete food.  Add a single serve of cottage cheese with some berries or celery with no sugar peanut butter, and maybe a few pecans.  That's a good lunch that wouldn't take long to eat.

I know taste is subjective, but I really enjoy Kirkland Protein Bars.  The box contains 10 chocolate brownie flavored bars and 10 cookie dough flavored bars.  While I buy them at Costco, I think they may also be sold at Aldi's.

Funny you should mention Kirkland Protein Bars. Sometimes my school gives out freebies and I tried the bar, I liked it. I don't have a Costco membership, my sister does. Maybe I can get her to go one of these days.

@Jordan2  You don't have to have a membership to shop online. They do charge you extra but you can still purchase.

I was under a weight loss program with a local doctor and he sold the best protein bars, with very little sugar and no "fake" sugars. He's moved on and I've so often wished I had made note of the brand. Protein powders are the same for me: too sweet and full of fake sugar. I've about given up. Fake sugars seem to make my sore joints more pronounced.

DD and I like one called Barebells--kind of pricey tho--maybe $3 each. Seems to tide me over from going full wolf mode and wanting to eat everything,

I don't like hard boiled eggs and don't like drinking my calories. I don't get much time to eat, it's like I'm wolfing it down and don't have time to enjoy it. I just feel like a protein bar is quick.

I liked a few flavors from Aloha but lately they have been sending stale, dried out bars when I ordered from Amazon(direct from Aloha). Amazon does not take returns for food items & you are stuck with it. So I stopped buying protein bars from Amazon.

Took a chance recently & ordered the IQBAR Clean High Protein Snack Bars, Chocolate Variety. This variety pack was good & I would re-purchase but from a store (where I can verify the sell by date), just not amazon.
