Hi ladies, I am writing on this forum today because my best friend for 20 years just told me that her husband is a compulsive gambler and he has taken her credit cards, stolen money, etc. and she just wants this nightmare to end. She works 3 jobs and has 2 little boys but her husband refuses to leave the house! She asked me to please help her and I'm asking you all if you might have some ideas of what direction I should look in to help her. She doesn't have internet access at home and can't research anything so she is asking for my help. I have connections, etc. but need some ideas where I should even start to look for help for her. She filed for divorce and he was served papers but her husband still won't budge. She now has gone to a "master" (?) to follow up legally but it appears she's in a no-win situation. The house, etc. are in both of their names. He is not abusive physically. He simply gambles away everything they have and comes and goes as he pleases. My friend is truly trapped and is pleading for my help. Any ideas you might have would be greatly appreciated
