I am more into the "portal" thing where one can travel to another dimension that seem to be located near the Skinwalker Ranch.

@wilma  - It's been awhile since I've heard about the Bermuda Triangle.

I have a feeling that ships and planes have been avoiding that area.

Not really. Just don't hear about it anymore. Back in the day, disappearances seemed to be in the news more.

I had forgotten all about this until you brought it up, you're right I have not heard or read about any recent strange disaperances, unless the media is not reporting them.  I agree that maybe ships and aviation are avoiding this general area.  Interesting question though.

Day into evening outfits don't seem to be a major need anymore either.

Haven't some people (pilots of ships and planes) said that their compasses went 'haywire' in that particular triangle area. ?

So it might have something to do with some sort of  magnetic phenomenon.

I still relate it to magnetic mountains or plates deep down on the ocean floor.
