I don't watch reality shows but I've been a Sherlock Holmes fan since I was a kid. I even like the old Sherlock movies, I used to watch them on TV with my grandmother. This series with Cumberbatch is outstanding!

I didn't know his real,parents played themselves. How cute is that! Are they professional actors? Typical Sherlock, he couldn't wait to get them out the door.

Benedict's parents are very well known actors in the UK,been around for decades.

Also the woman who played Watson's fiance is his real life partner! She is also in Mr Selfridge. In a future episode there is a flashback of Sherlock's childhood and one of the producer's son's(Stephen Moffat,I think) plays a young Sherlock

Guess they are keeping it in the family this season!

They seem to do that in a lot of the sci-fi productions, also, of which Cumberbatch is low linked to.
