I was reading either Star or People about the story.  Supposedly they were heading for a split back in 2010 but Gardner ended up pregnant with the last child so it was put on hold.  The story also alleges that Gardner is a control freak, following him around from movie set to set, scolding him about drinking, smoking, gambling etc.

Sounds to me like poor widdle Ben didn't like it when his gorgeous wife wanted him healthy and at home..,..oh boohoo hoo hoo, what a terrible woman to be married to.  Hopefully, Jen will find someone much better for her.
