I like Afleck in the role, but I wonder if the film will be anywhere near as good as the book was.

I think it may be difficult for the film to be as good as the book, but Gillian Flynn also wrote the screenplay, and with David Fincher as the director, I have high hopes!

I think he's really talented, and will find a way to pull it off. I have a feeling this is one movie I'll redbox. ESP since I know the ending. Lol!

I enjoy NPH when he is hosting award shows or he is a guest on talk shows. As far as acting, he pretty much always plays the same role. (smug and arrogant)

I agree NPH is talented, and I love him, but just didn't see him as Desi. :-) I'm sure he'll be great, but just different from what I had imagined!
