@wakefield64 That was a very good analysis of Kim’s studio. She’s clearly thinking ahead and positioning herself strategically for the future. Kim understands the long‑term demands of a competitive fashion industry, and her moves show the instincts of a savvy businesswoman.

@Lotus3000  Thank you. Kim is a smart businesswoman who knows her customers and is selling in spite of the higher prices. QVC assigns a pretty healthy markup on her items knowing how popular they are. If something happens with her relationship with QVC Kim already has a large following and will have an even larger one if she lowers her prices......although she does see the average price for one of her tops is about $60...that could be tough to give up!

Several from the Q were there for the grand opening, not a weekly thing.

I like Kim and I hope she does extremely well with her business.

 

If she does "separate" from QVC, she will need to hire other types of employees such as to take orders, customer service, and she will also need a warehouse with associated employees, and more office staff.  So there's alot more to consider other than just hosts and models.

 

I wish her well in her new venture.
