I've been wondering the same. It was disappointing to have this thread go off the rails because I too was wondering "what is this about"!

I do not do social media so I'm in the "clueless boat" with regard to the "WHYS"! I have been wondering if it's about staying closer to home or if she is "thinking ahead" regarding Qurate's financial issues.

I think if anything happens to QVC Rachel and Mary will be the first on a plane to Atlanta.

Maybe even Jen Coffey will be interested, she seems to be looking for places to land and I think she is in Atlanta somewhere.

Kim is definitely in the plan for the future mode.

Kim would be able to lower her prices substantially since she would not have the overhead QVC currently has and it seems most tariffs and going away.

I hear ya, but why would she hire her, when she has her Mom, sister and Amy AND, she's an experienced model/vendor/host herself?

My idea was that if Kim becomes self sustained without QVC and has a studio and possibly a warehouse, she will probably do well since she seems to have quite a following.

QVC has been "assigning" the higher prices and she will most likely be able to make her items more affordable if she was independent of QVC and build her sales even more.

As for staff, I doubt her Mom is going to want to be very involved in every day operations and she may need more help than her sister and Amy.

Just a thought...

Ahhh, ok - I see what you're saying...

She could use more "staff" in order to keep up with future growth.

While I'm not really a fan, I do wish her well.
