I used to shop at Bed Bath and Beyond. Since they have closed all their stores ,I haven't shopped on their website. Has anyone had any positive or negative experiances shopping with them? Thank you in advance!

I keep getting online ads to BB&B but I haven't ordered from them. I still can't believe this store has closed.

I was totally bummed when they closed.  I bought many nice things there.  Name brands.  Great prices using the 20% off coupons for each and every thing.

Then they brought in their own house brand junk and it went down hill fast.

But! @honeybeagle !  I just received 6 Sunbrella covered chair cushions from them. Lots of color choices and the prices were comparable to elsewhere.  Then I took advantage of the coupons they were sending me.  I don't think I had to wait long at all for the cushions.  I ordered them in twos so I had discounts each time.  Packaged well, too!

@honeybeagle  Read their return policy carefully. You are responsible for the cost of your return. If I remember correctly they do not return S&H cost to get the product to you. Can get expensive.

I used to like shopping at the store but I have no desire to order online from them.

I shopped at BBB in stores.  Never again online.  I ordered a pan.  Most of their merchandise comes from a third party vendor.  My merchandise went from the vendor's warehouse to Puerto Rico.  It was there about 3 weeks.  Finally the vendor agreed to resend it. Of course I received both pans and the vendor sent me a label to send one back.  It was a Hugh hassle for a pan.  Never again.

I drive pass by the local BBB store and wonder what they're doing with it.

The parking lot entrances are chained, the building & windows are immaculate and the lights are on every night.  I can see fixtures inside.

Either some retailer will be renting it soon, or film companies are using it for location scenes.

I can't think of any other reasons it's being so well kept, but empty.

No, I have no interest in the Overstock/BBB entity.  They basically just bought the name.  What I miss is the actual store.  They never did have a robust online presence.  If I wanted to buy a household item online there are other options with better shipping and more selections.

I used to be a great  BB&B customer with a fist full of 20% off coupons.  Then something changed with their business model.

I would still stop in but was buying nothing.  When I started giving my accumulated coupons to others, I knew it would soon go the way of my other former favorite, Linens 'n' Things.

The same thing has happened with Macy's.  I am 7 minutes away from their store and I used to visit weekly.  Then they changed their merchandise and I had little need for their store credit card.  When they started their rewards program and then Last Call department, I knew it was over.
