Re: Bed Bath & Beyond Part II

Now see @River Song I think if BBB had just added special stuff like that it would have been nice. It might have just been the merchandising of it in my store. It was like just plopped in the front with pretty tall aisles. Nothing against against Ocean State Job Lot but that was the feel of it and it just seemed out of place and gave it a weird vibe. I could absolutely see them setting up a nice section with Korean skin care though.

@pigletsmom2

Yeah, I think the Asian beauty products were an interest of the store manager/buyer and that's why they were stocked.  There were some other uncommon beauty product brands, too, that I didn't see in the drug stores or big box stores.  I always enjoyed going to that store to see what new beauty products came in.

@River Song  If there is an Asian community in your town, strongly suggest you check your local beauty supply store and an Asian strip mall if your town has one.

If there is a Korean-town and/or Chinatown, you've hit the jackpot in finding Korean beauty products.

BBB has acquired the Kirklands brand as of April 2026. I sure hope that store doesn't close.

Re: Bed Bath & Beyond Part II

There was a Kirkland's store in my town but it closed in January.  Mr. Google says that BB&B is replacing the Kirkland stores with retail BB&B stores.  My Kirkland store was tiny compared to a regular BB&B store so it'll be interesting to see what happens.  I kind of miss Big Lots, too, although I didn't shop there very much, they had an eclectic variety of stuff.

Re: Bed Bath & Beyond Part II

I was just at The Container Store in Tampa yesterday.  An employee there told me that 1/3 of the store was being converted into Bed, Bath, and Beyond.  All of the items I purchased were on sale except one and I was able to use a 20% off BBB coupon for it.
