Bed Bath Beyond Good Experience

Great Customer Service!

I bought a Cuisinart "Keurig" type coffee maker to replace one that I had had for 5-6 years. There was no doubt I was going to keep it and no doubt that it would be a work horse.

Well, 8 weeks later it quit working. I had no box and no receipt. I went through by credit card statements and sorta created proof of purchase. When I explained the problem, the clerk said no problem. She told me to just go select what ever I wanted to exchange for. I don't think she even tried to search for a record of purchase.

Thanks--BBB

They are a very good store.  I think their return policy is excellent and I've always found the staff at whichever branch I'm in to be very helpful.  Glad you had a good experience, too!  Smiley Happy

I so agree with you! They have the best customer service online also. Their shipping is also very fast for online orders. I received melted Luminara Pumpkin candles and took them back to my locat BBB and they were super nice. Both in store and online customer service is excellent. I was super impressed!

The store has a good variety, but the checkout line is always long with one cashier.

Re: Bed Bath Beyond Good Experience

It seems more brick & mortar stores have a much more generous return policy than the online retailers.

I wanted to swap some makeup I purchased at Belk.   They have a 180 day return policy.   I never used the makeup and there were no questions asked, just get the one you want and swap it.

I keep receipts for a while, especially if it's a somewhat big purchase, I keep the receipt with the user manual.

I have a small drawer I use to stuff receipts, when it gets really full I toss and start again.

I don't know what Walmart's "official" policy is but they are also no questions asked.

Re: Bed Bath Beyond Good Experience

BBB’s return policies are excellent.

I purchased an expensive major brand electric room heater from HSN. I loved it, but it started to malfunction only a year after I got it. For $90, I felt it should have performed better/longer.

I have made do with it until recently, when I decided I’d just had it. Deliberately choosing a different brand with the omission of a feature I thought might be causing the problem, I purchased from BBB with a 20% off coupon, knowing that if it kwaps out in a year, two years, even three years, I can go in and get another heater in exchange.

I agree that BBB is great about returns!

And you never have to worry about a receipt, they can look up your purchase by your method of payment!

I love they honor their coupons beyond the "expiration" dates.  I save every coupon I get.  When I check out, their salespeople will go through my coupons and apply them to my advantage.  They are a great store!

The Bed/Bath in Oxnard, CA -- right near my house --- has excellent customer service. I prefer to buy there than Walmart!!!! I've also used their on-line site a few times. A year ago, I ordered an 8-cup Hamilton Beach Coffee Maker on-line and it stopped working 8 months later. I emailed Bed/Bath - and I chose a 4-cup Farberware Coffee Maker. They shipped it free to my house and credited me the difference in price. Shopping at the store is also very relaxing. I go thee during the day - on weekdays.
