Here is a review of Kleenex tissues.  Enjoy. 

1.   Never buy the cube, nope nope nope.  Besides only 50 in the box they are only 2 ply and not large enough. You'll run out and curse yourself for having to quickly buy more.

2.   Never buy the one with lotion, nope nope nope.  Nothing good ever came from lotion on my tissues, nothing.  

3.   Never buy the one called cooling + lotion.  nope nope nope . Never worked and only came in a cube.

4.  Never buy the one called anti viral.  I got sick anyway after buying their 4 pack of rectangular tissues.  nope, nope nope.

5.  Never buy the one called trusted care in either cube or rectangle only comes in 2 ply. nope nope nope.

6.  The winner is the one called ultra soft. It has 3 layers and I buy it in the 4 pack rectangular box. It is really soft just as they claim.

I always buy the Kleenex Ultra Soft rectangles, but transfer them to a different holder when I open the box. 

About 18 months ago, they changed the packaging, which I really don't care for.   It reminds me of the 1980s shag carpeting and avocado green appliances, for some reason.

BTW ... IMO, best price for a 4-pack is $6.98 at Walmart.

I used to put a ROLL OF TOILET PAPER on my desk at work.   

People were too embarrassed to help themselves....like when they would dig into a box of tissues and grab a whole wad.

Get a different tissue holder ... one that holds the rectangles.

The current "sale" price at a store here is $2.49 for the cube, which holds 60 tissues.

The rectangle is selling for $2.99 for 120 tissues.

So, for another fifty cents, in the rectangle, you get twice as many as in the cube.  

Do the math.   Or not.

I buy the bulk package at Sam's. Says Everyday Clean,  rectangular box, 2 ply, they do the trick for me.

I get the cubes for my car, fits in the arm rest box.

I order the cubes from Amazon; 36 boxes of 90 sold and shipped by Amazon.

If I changed to rectangular shaped boxes I would have to do rearranging at each location.

I buy both.   I prefer the CUBE with LOTION in my kitchen and master bath.   If fits better in the area I want it.  I also prefer the lotion if someone has alergies because it's softer on the nose.

I buy the longer box for other areas of my home.   My preference.   I thankfully can afford the additional expense.

I buy them all at different times for different reasons.

Yes, rectangular boxes are a better value. You get less if buying the lotion variety, but if I battling a cold or flu and wiping my nose constantly I like them and also the cooling with aloe. It's an occasional purchase for those rare needs.

I buy the cubes because it fits better on my nightstand. Yes, I know not as good a value.

I worst offended cost wise are the cylinders. I buy those also. My car has more cup holders than I'll ever use and I want tissues handy at my fingertips.

Sometimes convenience is worth it to me.

I only buy the rectangle shape with no additonal "softness' or lotion.
