So this was us today down at our condo...beautiful, stunning beach day here in SE MD.  My daughter, her hubs and the grands are all with us.  Whoa!  Little ones and sand!  Went for a swim with my grandaughter and got a bit tossed around.  It was time to exit the waves.

Perfect ending to the day, grilled BLT's with out of the garden beefsteak tomatoes 🍅.  OMG, thick juice slices with the juice just running down our arms.  I used Walmarts toasting white bread because it stands up to those tomatoes.  Something so simple can be oh so good.  Now it's porch time 🍻.

Glad you said it was SE MD....I could have sworn that was the Point in Cape May !!!     Beautiful shot:  thank goodness that was a Beach umbrella and not a rain one, lol !   ☔️ ⛱️.   🍅🍅🍅🥬🥬  🌞

I'm glad you enjoyed your beautiful day at the beach!

It was gorgeous weather here in Bucks County, PA as well!  My adult kids, baby grandson and my brother all came over.  We went to the community pool and then back home for a cook out.

The grandson who is a toddler is always so entertaining and we had a wonderful afternoon!

They just left and I just finished cleaning up the kitchen!

After so many weeks of very hot & humid weather it was such a pleasure to have a beautiful day!

.....bring 💰💵 it has gotten very expensive downtown.  When we visit the shore house, we get take out from North Cape May or CM Court House !!!

But, they have totally expanded the beautiful beach to go from one end of the " island " all around to the Point on the far end.  It is gorgeous and their efforts to create shrubbed dunes from years ago have paid off handsomely.

@jlkz You know, I have heard that and have family that live in Basking Ridge, NJ.  They love the Cape and tell me it's just beautiful.

I used to commute to BR in my corporate life: 3 hours / day for 7 years !  Then I got transferred to M-town and I carpooled with someone who had. 1hour / day round trip to meet me so we could ride in together.  A beautiful area.

From a two-lane heavily traveled road to multi- lanes on R-287....ugh !

No wonder I finessed a " package " and started my own consulting business doing what I absolutely loved and with no employees.....true freedom and heaven on earth !
