I love traditional gowns like this.

Love the gown ..My wedding gown was similar back in '71..Ivory satin..it had some lace near the bottom..though..Chose Ivory satin..didn't want white..I would have looked like a "snowwoman" for my Jan. wedding..53 yrs. later..I still have it and the same DH!

I am curious.  How much did a dress like that cost in 1971?

@lgfan ..I don't remember a price..I know it wasn't thousands like today....My parents paid for everything for that snowy day.

I show those pictures to DH all the time he has no idea who "those" people are.
