@elated wrote:TMZ was showing pictures of people on the beach in So Cal. I thought they were issued an order to stay home. People don't understand.
We were. And while most people are listening, there are a huge number who think it doesn't apply to them. At this rate we will be in our homes forever. Newsom needs to send the National Guard to the heavily-populated congregation areas. And the thing is, the people who live in those areas are probably abiding by the rules; it's the people inland who head to those beaches and possibly bring thier cooties. Just beyond frustrating.

@KingstonsMom wrote:Australia closed their borders, but their beaches are packed.....duh!
@KingstonsMom, Australia has been very lax which is why I suspect they are becoming such a hot spot. This is the country that just let that cruise ship (Ruby Princess?) dock with about 3,000 passengers, some that reported being sick, walk right off the ship. Not only did they not even go through customs, not a one of them was tested. Now there are 130 people from the ship who have tested positive.

About 20 days ago on a Sunday the beach was extremely crowded.Later they had about 900 dead patients in a day .
Now parks, beaches, mountains etc. are patroled by police.

One of the former Q models who now is a vendor rep for IT was in St. Thomas, USVI. 6 days ago she was posting photos on social media and said it was almost time to leave. Then 4 days after that (2 days ago) she posted a photo of herself wearing a mask, in what appears to be the airport and stated she was on her way home. I'm not sure if there was a hold-up and she couldn't get a flight home that 6 days ago she said it was almost time to go home but she was just on her way 4 days later.
It irritated me to see her sitting there wearing that mask, boarding a plane to come home from a vacation she shouldn't have gone on. No common sense at all.

I posted this somewhere else but seems fitting here too.
