I'm hearing basically used all the time now, everywhere. Filler words.Not speaking of just the Q.

Footwear for shoes, fabrication for fabric.

Also, people start sentences with "So...." when asked a question.

If I could ever stand to watch JT for an entire show (not going to happen) I would count how many times she says, “literally.” She way over uses the word.

Unfortunately I have been guilty of using the filler word basically for a very long time.  I drive myself crazy with it but I don't even realize I'm saying it until after I've said it.   😑

Literally is a word that should not be used in most cases. I literally told her no is the same as I told her no. I literally told them I couldn't come is the same as I told them I couldn't come. I literally love that movie is the same as I love that movie. The word literally is not necessary.

How about actually.  My husband bet my 9 year old grand son that he couldn't last 5 minutes without saying actually.   He couldn't do it.
