Just saw this morning a nylon blouse of Barefoot Dreams for $115.98.  What country are they living in?  With the price of Food, Gas, Medication that is unbelievable.

I agree!  I could afford to spend that much for a blouse, but why???  If it were silk, it might be worth it.  But for rayon and nylon--LOL!!

For those who love this brand and buy, enjoy!

As long as I can remember going shopping, there have ALWAYS been exclusive and higher-priced establishments selling clothing...

I'll never understand why people keep complaining about prices.  They are what they are.  There are plenty of people who can afford these prices.  if you think the price is too high just shake your head and move on.

@kaydee50    I agree!  I bought two brand new pieces of their Malibu Collection from Mercari for less than $50 for both pants and top.  The fabric is NOTHING SPECIAL!  I don't know how they can justify the prices.

True.  I live close to so much retail selling to those whose budgets and values let them spend for what they want.  Although the governor opened the whole state up early during the pandemic, the majority of the retail that survived has been what the wealthiest want and buy.

There's lots of empty retail space available, but the majority of what has been rented in those spaces has been to medical services.

We're lucky.  We have fast fashion.  We can get very cheap clothes just about any store.  We have big closets now filled to the bursting point with clothes!  I've seen people in third world countries dressed like us.  Tee shirts, shorts, pants, tops, etc. Zara store has copies of costly gowns that you can get for a fraction of the cost made in stretchy polyester.

As for myself....I happen to love Barefoot Dreams.  They don't shed.  They are incredibly soft and wonderful to wear.  My decision to buy from them.  I could get almost the same thing in Denim & Co.  for cheaper.  But I don't buy from them.

@sunshine45 I love BFD and wear them all year round.  I have heavier for the winter and lighter for the warmer months.  They wear like iron.  I have some that are over 5 years old and they still look brand new.  That is why we have variety of brands to shop.  BFD may not be for everyone but what brand is?
