Top-knot.jpg

This is what my bangs look like.  I like putting it up in the top knot.

When my hair is done, they just kind of cascade around my face.  My hair is curly - so I can leave them curly or use the round brush when I dry my hair to get them wavy.

I think everyone should wear their hair the way they like ,without calling out other people ,who choose to wear theirs differntly

Everyone's hair isn't the same, and  they must work with what they have, to find a style that works for them

@SaRina, do you have curly hair?

Mine has a mind of its own.  It looks different every hour of the day, especially if it's humid out.  LOL

If you want to talk about bangs, why mention a host and say she looks bad?  It's mean.

@glb613 - I'm not trying to be mean - I just think it's unflattering on her face shape.  She's a very pretty woman - but I really liked her hair without bangs.

If that's so, you should have not posted the name of the host and your opinion about how she looks.  What you posted is mean.

I have bangs, nothing as cute as @Bri21 and @SaRina! Cheaper than Botox.

I had bangs as a young child. And then again in the early eighties. I got tired of them real quick and have not had them since. I told myself never again. They are a pain to grow out and they need constant trimming. My daughter who only had bangs around age three, tried them a few years ago - she also prefers to be without them. I do believe some people look better with them, while others look good with or without them. Whether full bangs, side swept bangs, or wispy bangs - they do need to be trimmed to the right length constantly to look their best. You do not see it often, but too short bangs are just awful.

(One thing about them though - they do camouflage any forehead lines you may have 😉!)

I have really short hair and could make them if I wanted to but I keep them kind of pushed back and off to the side, but not the swoopy kind of pushed to the side bangs.

@Bri21, my hair is naturally wavy, frizzy (and long). but I use a flat iron after it air dries after shampooing. When my hair is down, I like side swept bangs. When it's up, I usually brush them straight down like the pic.

You are right ,short bangs are the worst.
