The sun was out today.  DH and I decided to go for a ride near Arboles CO and Navajo Dam.... We saw 8 eagles.....38 hawks....10 deer...scores of geese and ducks..and Scottish Highland cows with a kitty photo bombing their pic...DW

@dancingwoman    Beautiful photos.  You had quite a fruitful day.  It was a beautiful day for a drive here in the Southwest, but snow is coming next week.

We got a a couple of inches the other day. Last week's storm dropped about 8". Still got snow on the ground here. When I shovel the snow off of the sidewalks/driveway I put it under my trees so they get the water when it melts. It's a bit more work for me to do that but my trees need water...it's so dry here.

Those are great pics!  We're going on a girls roadtrip this year to Alamosa to visit a friend's sister and continue to Santa Fe.  Sounds like maybe a side trip to Arboles CO and / or Navajo Dam is in order?  Would love your opinion / tips.
