@Pearlee ...Good point but if Meghan were there Harry wouldn't get a word in edgewise.  She would take over the room until someone called a halt to the meeting.

@mousiegirl  I have no idea about 'explosive' news but as for why Harry isn't part of the inner circle, he's not a meaningful heir to the throne anymore. On top of that Charles' goal is to streamline the 'working' royals, those who serve the royal family in exchange for significant revenue and perks. The true 'senior' royals are the queen, the Prince of Wales and the heir presumptive (William), along, perhaps, with some of the queen's other children and their consorts. Beyond William, George, Charlotte and Louis all now supercede Harry in the line of succession. Harry had apparenty been considered a 'senior' royal by virtue of the fact that he's an heir to the current Prince of Wales (Charles) who is next in line for the throne. As such, he and his consort were expected to perform pretty much full time royal duties and have been receiving considerable funds, housing, staff, security and perks for doing so.

You people are as obsessed with the Royal family as the other poster is with Lisa Robinson. You all need help. We are Americans & the Royal family is nothing to us. They are just a figurehead to the British. I have a good friend in Scotland &  she is not this obsedded.

You're in no position to determine that everyone here (or anyone) "needs help".  Or to decree that people are obsessed.  Interest in the royal family hurts no one, and there is quite a lot going on now so there's a lot to discuss.  Interest does not mean obsessed.  This is just a discussion, and I doubt any of this takes up the bulk of anyone's day.  If you're not interested, move on to to another topic.  Why would you take the time to read a thread you have no interest in?

Btw, I have friends and family in England, and they are very interested in what's going on with the Royal Family.  Your anecdotal observation about your friend in Scotland doesn't support your contention at all.

He has a bone to pick with them over many things. Sounds like a lot of sour grapes because they don't keep him as close as some of the other royals.

Clearly, Edwards has been deeply offended by Meghan and Harry not keeping him as close as Kate and William may have. And while no one would argue that Meghan and Harry are following exact royal tradition, what gets lost in all these critiques is the notion that the Sussex’s way of doing things may actually be better than what came before. It’s no doubt a tough pill to swallow in a nation that rewards tradition so heavily. But any photographer hoping to get up close and personal with the Duchess of Sussex should get excited about documenting change — and give up the idea that Meghan owes the public any more than what she’s giving.

@SuhseK ...Tom Bradby is a journalist who is referred  to as a close confidant to Prince Harry which makes him a close trusted friend.  However, IF I were Harry and read the article that my close friend wrote, announcing to the world, that he knows my wife and I plan to threaten to slander my grandmother the queen if she doesn't meet our demands, that so-called friend would bite the dust.

Incidentally, there definitely is an article clearly  stating what I wrote, you just didn't get the right one.

@occasionalrain   I'm not Canadian which is part of the reason I found the Canadian article fascinating.  I have a hard time understanding the rules of my own government Woman Frustrated

I don't have the answer to your question.  I don't know enough about whatever etiquette has been established between Canada and the Crown.

She returned to Canada before the meeting had even been set and, since she had left Archie behind in Canada, never meant to stay around the UK to address the issue.

No reason has been given for her and Archie to be remaining in Canada while there are reasons she and Archie should be in the UK, support for her husband and allowing him to enjoy his son.

That has nothing to do with my post you quoted which was in response to an earlier post of yours.Yes she returned to Canada but that was before the meeting was called.

Let it go already. 🙄 @occasionalrain
