Bad weather expected on Wednesday

I'm in Atlanta. Our local weather people said today that we're at the highest risk for tornados tomorrow than the last several years.

They're also urging people to charge their mobile devices tonight because they said we're also at a high risk for power outages.

One of our local meteorologists was on vacation in Florida and flew back to Atlanta tonight so that he can help with weather coverage tomorrow.

I've got my phone and iPad charging and we have our tornado tote bag packed and ready to take to the basement. I'll also be packing another tote bag with my jewelry and a few other things.

You may be getting what we had last night and today. We've had 50mph winds, stormy skies and snow all over the Northern part of the state except for here where we got nothing but wind and cold. It's been one storm after another.

Raining here ! yay ! Been having goodly amounts of rain.

My yard looks decent even where the sprinklers don't get to it.

I'm in western NC and our weather people, who are not prone to hype, are giving some of the strongest warnings about this storm system that I've heard since I moved here 10 years ago for WNC, GA and Upstate SC.

I'm as prepared as I can be and keeping my fingers crossed that the topography of my area will once again keep the worst of the weather away.

Just keep yourselves safe -everything else is replaceable. Here in Indiana we are expecting a moderate risk - but nothing like you are looking at - be safe!

Last night our area got 3.5" of rain overnight and the power went off twice!

@gidgetghI am in the storm's past as well in East Alabama. I'm worried after watching the weather channel. Work is cancelled for me tomorrow (which let's me know they think it will be bad!)
