@SandySparkles - You were a nurse! Thank you to you. and to you too @Goodie2shoes, for your many years of service! I've always known nurses have a special gift that others don't.

I loved seeing your pictures, and it is fun to remember.

I just wrote a article for a short class I'm taking about our pasts. After many years of teaching English and now writing prayers and sermons, you would think this is the last thing I'd want to do! But this class is not a typical writing class - it is all about feelings in the past. The instructor doesn't even care how "correct" our writing is; she wants us to concentrate on the emotions. We can share if we want to, or we can write for ourselves. So you could take one of the beautiful pictures you shared with us and write about it - how you remember feeling then and how you feel looking back at it now. (I don't mean to be all "teach-y here, but I'm having fun in this class, and I'm surprised at the times that come to mind.)

I'm sorry you're not feeling your best, but illness can't rob us from our personality. And yours ALWAYS shines through!  (((HUGS)))

, I had been thinking about you and glad you posted. I'm sorry you are going through a Chronic illness. I remember you mentioning something in the past that you had some health problems going on. It's hard to find the words to say in situations like this. I will keep you in my prayers. But Like another poster mentioned, you do have a beautiful smile.

@JYWilliams WELCOME and THANK you for the compliment! Any and all prayers are so appreciated!💖

@SandySparkles I see that you are/were a nurse. I am a retired nurse (2016) 50 yr career so I say thank you for your dedication to the field of nursing. Take care of yourself now and know that we are praying for you.

@Goodie2shoes Welcome and  thank YOU for YOUR dedication!!❤️ 50 years is truly a blessing!🥰You are to be COMMENDED!  As you are aware, many nurses walk away due to the high level of stress; particularly the younger ones!  My nursing career was cut short for other medical reasons that impair cognition!☹️

I almost made a crucial med error one night and began seriously struggling with time management and care planning. It was difficult to step away, but it was the right decision.😊 THANK you SO much for your prayers!❤️

@SandySparkles

You are very beautiful!  I could not see one of your photos.

I know how you feel.  In the last year especially I have aged so much and this is due to a lot of health issues that I have.  There are days that I get so depressed about it.  I know this might seem shallow and it's really what is on the inside that counts, but it does really affect your self-esteem and confidence.  I never had much confidence to begin with.  I am happy and blessed to still be here and I know you feel the same way, but it is really challenging at times.  I wish you all the best - blessings!  You are a sweet and gentle soul - I can tell from your posts!  Heart
