Oh Epi, sounds like a biliary stricture. Sounds like your body healed up the incision in the bile duct instead of letting it stretch out a little.

I read somewhere that extra fiber helps. Now, I am not talking about eating grains like a nanny goat - I would recommend Benefiber. No, I don't work for the company (I recommend it all of the time) but I am a living testimonial since 2008.

I hope one of the medications will help you and not cause some other side effect.

</ I don't think that's what is is. But thanks for the info. I might it anyway. I don't like going on more meds. As I already take too many and my Gastro is going to check with my pain Dr. So they can decide which would be the best choice. I hate taking them all, but my health would suffer if I did not have tenses options. Boy, this gets a bit much sometimes,LOL!!!!

Thanks for the info Epi - will you PLEASE add my name to your chastising list. Shame on her. I too had been truly worried!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hot today but tolerable. Thought for a short while we could have some rain - what a silly person I am as of course nary a drop. Weather is sure taking a toll as I filled my feeders several days ago. Not one is empty - not even the huge Black Oil Sunflower feeder. Did see a Hummer this morning but just the one. Bird bath also was not emptied out. I am sure we have lost a lot of critters - I find that so very sad. The crows have disappeared almost completely and our skies are normally full of those birds.

Tomorrow the kitties belong to the grands are going OUTSIDE as I have felt sorry for them but one is making a big mess and she is not on my good list. LOL. She is beautiful but probably has some problems. Tonight will put out clean towels in the cat condo, prepare the bowls of food and water so tomorrow morning I can just scoot them out there. Also a big thing is Conrad needs some peace and quiet. He has not been a happy camper as the cats run all over him. He is use to Miss Blackie and Stripes as they leave him alone but one of the kitties drives him insane. She jumps on him to play - that does NOT go over well.

Hope all had a good day and again am relieved to find out HASD is ok.

Hey gang! I'm getting over a bout with pneumonia and am finally getting my strength back. My doc wanted me to go into the hospital, but I told her I really, really didn't want to so she said if I'd come back to her office the next two days and if my saturation was up and my breathing had improved she wouldn't admit me. I did go back as instructed and my saturation did improve greatly with the scrips she had me on plus my breathing treatment's so I dodged a bullet. Then the gas company was digging in our alley and cut our phone wires and we were without landlines and the Internet for five days! The gas company blamed the phone company for not marking the wire sites and the phone company blamed the company who is supposed to mark buried wires so somebody dropped the ball big time. Both utilities worked over the week end so you can imagine what overtime cost.{#emotions_dlg.scared}

We finally got the work done on our house that we've been trying to have done for ages. We had the wooden soffets between the roof and above the brick covered with metal and new windows installed in the front of the house. Sure looks better. The young men who did the work were so talented and did not dilly dally contrary to many workers we've had in the past. Jim chose a brick or barn red for the metal and it was a good choice. It'll be nice not to have to paint and repair that wood in the future.

By the way, love all the lawn furniture here at the fence. It's mighty comfy. I brought some ice cold lemonade for us to enjoy during this lovely fall weather.

Happy Tuesday all. Sue

Queen - such great news about beating the pneumonia without a hospital stay. We could never get that to work that way for my Mom, but I think sometimes she waited until she was REALLY sick before agreeing to go to the ER.

I don't paint my soffits either - they are covered with vinyl siding or something that goes with the vinyl siding (was like this when I bought the house). The less I have to paint, the better Wink. I don't mind doing the trim around the garage door and stuff like that.

Queen Sue, how great you beat the pneumonia bug - difficult to do without a hospital stay and I commend you for getting ahead of the system. Wow!!!

Epi, forgot to menion that the salad you fixed sure sounded yummy. Nothing better than a good salad.

Much cooler this morning - in the 50s - but never fear temps will go up again in a few days - sounds like a repeat of last week.

Been so busy - yesterday went to the church luncheon at the former church I attended. The luncheon use to be jammed packed and yesterday it was the smallest number there I have ever seen - I counted 37 people and that included the helpers. That room use to be jammed with anywhere from 75 to 100 people. So sad but they caused it themselves. Many, like me, have left the church and a lot of those will not go back for the luncheon. I suspect this was the last time I will go. No music there any more, never starts on time and just a lot of time spent just sitting. Have a hunch they are planning to shut it down soon anyway - do not know that but they have tossed most everything they had for seniors. This is the church that they painted most areas in black - use black plastic buckets to take up offerings. Weird. The new minister there is a strange person in my opinion. By the way, he has NEVER attended one of the senior luncheons. The pastor who retired was there every single month. Just not comfortable there any more - even at the luncheon.

Hope all have a great day.

Winifred - I don't begrudge you visiting your friends from your former church, but honestly I get the willies when you tell me about all of the decor' and now the collection plate being changed to black. Makes me want to send you a scapular for protection.

I know it's a Catholic thing and I have a very old one that belonged to my grandfather. He died when I was 2 or 3 and I am 52 now. When I wear it, i just pin it to my bra for protection.
