My daughter and I are hosting a baby shower for my niece next month and i need some suggestions for games. TIA

Ask the mother-to be's family some questions about her childhood. Use the answers to these questions as the basis for a game where shower guests guess the correct answers when answering the questions. Whichever guest gets the most answers correct wins a prize. I printed out the questions on paper and gave each guest a sheet of questions on a clipboard and a pen.

I think I've been to two baby showers in my life. The first one was in the 80s. We were asked to get on our hands and knees and Vaseline was smeared on our noses. Then we were told to pick up cotton balls with our greasy noses and drop them in a cup. No hands.
I clearly remember thinking to myself that this would be the last time I attended a baby shower. (I did win, however.)

I love it, I will use this. Thanks deep

you can do a scattergories type of game. A-Z and everyone has to come up with a unique baby related item for each letter of the alphabet. those that give a unique answer get a point. the one with the most points wins the game.
(for example, if two people say diaper for D, then no one gets a point)
another game requires a ball of yarn and scissors. everyone cuts a piece of the yarn and then they see who gets closest to the circumference of the mother-to-bes tummy. the person who cuts the yarn closest wins the prize.

When my daughter had her baby shower, I googled baby shower games and found some really fun ones. Course I can't remember anything now except everyone enjoyed playing. Have fun!

At the last baby shower I had one of the favorite games was guess the food. I bought 8 jars of baby food....a wide variety with some easy well known ones and some hard to guess (and some yucky....blech...like beef). I put the food in custard cups and numbered 1-8. Everyone had a cute pencil, 8 small plastic spoons and an index card and had to guess the food and write it down on their cards. Whoever got the most right won a little prize. It was really fun. The other one that was a hit was "frozen baby". Buy those teeny tiny plastic babies at a party supply (they come in a bag of 20 and are really teeny tiny). Using an ice cube tray, but a baby in each cube tray and fill with water. The ice cube will freeze with the baby in it. When you serve your punch or drinks, at the party, everyone gets a frozen baby. Whoever's baby "is born" first, wins a prize. Everyone LOVED that one and it was a good way to have people talking to each other....everyone was checking to see how the baby was doing!!. Of course the old stand by is the one where people take a length of toilet paper they think is the circumference of the mom to be's tummy. Who ever is closest to the actual circumference wins a prize. You can get great, and cheap, baby shower things at the 99 cent store. That is where I got the cute baby shower pencil favors they all took home, and little prizes for the winners. That is also where I got the teeny plastic babies I put in the ice cubes.

We did the old game where a quarter is held between the knees and then you have to waddle over to a bowl and drop the coin into it. The money then goes into a bank for the baby.

At my DD's shower, the MOH passed out a blank sheet of paper to each guest. They were to draw the groom in his boxer shorts - by putting the paper on top of their head! It was tons of fun. The best drawing got a prize.
