In my city of Tucson, Az. A seven month old baby girl who may have been left for as much as eight hours was dead on arrival at UMC hospital. It was in the 90's yesterday. She and her family have not been identified. The investigation is ongoing.

Not including the one cited in the OP (and perhaps other recent deaths):

So far in 2014 there have been at least thirty heatstroke deaths of children in vehicles; twenty-five confirmed as heatstroke and five are still pending official findings by the medical examiner. Last year, 2013, there were at least forty-four deaths of children in vehicles; thirty-nine which has been confirmed as heatstroke and five which, based upon the known circumstances, are most likely heatstroke (2013 list).

And usually it's the baby's dad in charge, not used to taking care of the baby in the morning and preoccupied.

Unfortunately, this is not a 'thinking' society at this time in history. Not only for the safety of precious babies, but also for other major news lately. As Judge Judy often says: "PUT ON YOUR THINKING CAPS" !!

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

Re: Baby Left In Car ...Again

I saw an interview on the news with a witness who said the car had MN plates. No excuse, though.
