Anyone else wearing 3 layers  of clothing indoors?    And a hat?   Outside it is 10 degrees (tropical for the weekend) and my high-efficiency furnace cannot get my living toom above 60 degrees.  Here in upstate NY, we've had a very mild winter and it was saving it all up for Valentine's Day.  Who loves you, Baby?

In Atlanta today, we're in the high 30's (at least I think- I haven't been out).

We're supposed to get some sort of wintry "stuff" tomorrow morning- possible freezing rain, a little ice, turning to rain or nothing at all at our house.  I prepared for this weather event like it was the apocolypse and now I don't reallly think it's going to do anything at all.

I've been massively busy for the past several months.  I planned a "don't leave the house" day for today and tomorrow and am loving it so far.

By the end of this coming week, I think we're supposed to have highs in the high 60's here- can't way.

@excpa- hope you get a warm up soon.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

When I ran errands this morning, the car said it was -3.  It's been like that for a couple days.  Things should start improving tomorrow and we'll hit the high 30's by the end of the week.

@excpa - Neither can I!  My living room is around 54 right now, I have two pair of pants on, a sweatshirt, robe, wool socks, slippers and a winter scarf around my neck.  Dogs are on their beds covered in blankets.  We are expecting between 3-6 inches of snow (snowing right now) and it is freezing out.  But later this week will be in 60s - it's Indiana weather - wait 15 minutes and it will change.

I'd like to give you about 25 degrees, if I could. It's 90 degrees for the LA marathon today. Ain't nobody happy about that, especially the runners.

It is 17 degrees here in southern WV, and we are waiting for the snow to start falling---expecting 5 inches of fresh snow by morning.  This area has had arctic cold for the last few days, with windchill factors as low as minus 25.  I switched our heat pump over to the emergency heat setting 7 days ago, but we are to see temps in the 20's and up this coming week.

Just had to go put a long sweater on, Shows 23 outside. and, had to make some hot cider drink to warm from inside out!! Funny thing is, I'm watching a Net Flix show about some guy and hs dog living in Russia some area that's just in snow. This is the best way to enjoy the snow I have. There's puppies of one of his dogs, that are just too cute!!!

I feel bad for everybody in the freeze zone, especially the homeless, elderly, and the homeless animals.

Try and stay warm, and in a few months, it'll all be a memory.
