BLOOOD PRESSURE ?

I took my 80 year old mother to the ER last night with 207/126 reading. I was on the phone with ner home health nurse for 4-6 hours prior to this as we couldnt get it down with the medicine she had at home. She told me to take her in. The ER doctor tried to make me look like a fool for bringing her in. He said he has see a lot worse that that and they didn't die. It was stil 177/101 when they sent us home. She is on 3 medications for blood pressure. Do you think I panicked or wood you have done the same thing? Just wondering as I will take her again if it ever does get this high again.
