Hello fellow bird lovers ~ I hope it's okay that I started the September thread.

We're expecting a mild heat wave for the next two days - hot and humid (yech). I'm not sweating it (no pun intended) as it's supposed to be 86 today and 68 by Sunday or Monday.

Not much going on in my 'hen house'. My indoor birds and outdoor birds are doing well. I'm at work (shh - don't tell) and have been having an interesting day watching a praying mantis on one of the windows - I'm on the 18th floor on my building. I never was into bugs and can say I have a new appreciation for the delicate nature of a praying mantis. I just hope he/she doesn't fall off the window while I'm at work. I don't know if it walked up or flew up.

Don't want to get fired so I'm gonna go ~ have a great day~
