I think if you are an impulse buyer, then placing orders on Qvc is not a good idea.

I don't understand all the canceling I read about in general. I've not been on other websites where this is an open policy. I think it encourages people to spend thoughtlessly with the assurance they can cancel and then making it hard to do so. 

Best thing to do is assume you can't cancel before spending money you're not sure if you should be.

yes, must have changed.. i placed an order about 2  weeks ago. than went back in and cancelled it to change the color. but it was about 3 min later.

I have amended an order recently and it worked out fine for me...they are trying to move   items as fast as they can, during Christmas season..I don't expect to order something and go back hrs later and cancel it

No, you can't always cancel using the automated phone system.

  I tried to cancel a kitchen item that was on air yesterday--within about 15 minutes after ordering it by phone.  The recorded messge said that, in order to meet Christmas delivery dates, my order was already in the process of being shipped.

Well, I doubt any shipping prep had already taken place, but it appears QVC has found a new excuse for not honoring cancellations........ they hide now behind the .need to get those items to customers by Christmas, no matter what.

I don't care whether the item I ordered comes before Christmas at all, so I'm not impressed.

I have been lucky when i have cancelled a few orders i could do it. Its not right to not let orders be cancelled for a while after it is placed! Some times it was half hour later and I was happy to be able to still cancel! Not sure if that was Q, HSN, or ShopHQ.
