For many years it was 7:00 a.m. after everyone left, and I sat down with my coffee and newspaper. It's still coffee/newspaper time, but it ain't 7:00 a.m.

BEST TIME OF DAY.....Morning or evening?

Since I retired any time of the day is good for me. I worked all shifts that existed during my teen years and for 15 years with Western Electric/AT&T. I usually was able to adjust to any work hours. I did however have a problem staying awake in study halls in high school on the days after I didn't get to bed till 1:30 am. I worked at a drive-in restaurant 5 nights a week and they closed a 1 am each night. Fortunately that was only 3 out of the 5 day school week, so I did stay awake through some of them.

Missed so many days of school in 7th and 8th grade(working same job same hours)that I had to go to summer school to graduate from grade school.Then nuns didn't like it when their kids didn't come to school everyday. Even got the ears pulled and "the ruler treatment" on some occasions. Nowadays they might call that "corporal punishment", but I felt like I deserved it.

Now all times are the best time of the day for me as long as I am somewhat healthy.
