We just got our electricity back from that big storm that moved through the midwest and east. It didn't take it long to go through but what a mess it left behind. We lost electricity Friday afternon (we are an all electric home) and didn't get it back until Sunday evening. Internet just came back on. I think my electricity has been out more this year than we have even had before. The houses across the street still do not have power. We have a tree across the street four houses to our left and two houses to our right, a tree came down on an above the ground pool. They had just had a pool party. We got only an inch of rain - far short of what we need. Triple digit temps tomorrow so sure hope that electrcity gets restored. A couple of the neighbors are running generators and it sounds like you are in the middle of a factory. They need them so I guess we can consider it a good noise.

What's going on with everyone - I feel like I've missed out on everything. I have never been out of service so many times as we have this year.
