I read on the internet that Avon is losing money in the USA under the current, new CEO. I hope she gets canned. I cannot stand her motivation for Avon. Each catalog looks like the last and the pricing is so high. Avon used to be for the middle class woman and the selections and variety were unique with each book different. Now its the same old same old offered each campaign. If something new is offered it either sells out fast or reverts back to the same old. I miss the uniqueness it used to have in its brochures. Anybody else feel the same?

I like their eye liners and buy them by the dozen for my daughter and I..the black ones..

I wait til they are on sale ..and then with free shipping get them in a couple days. I have noticed their stuff does run high..for what I would expect from avon..

I did try their eye shadow primer..for $2.99 a tub..and loved it..glad I bought two..

My grandmother and mother sold Avon for years. They used to have the best lipstick but can not remember the name without looking it up. They used to be innovated like they had Skin So Soft way before these beauty oils on the market today.

I love Avon-even sold it a long time ago. If you want a personal rep. try going on their website-that is how I found my last rep. She lives a hop skip and a jump from my house! I think the products are excellent but what I have always complained about is them introducing a new product and then after awhile it is gone. I have been told they do that to keep up to date and current. When I find a product I like-especially facial cleanser, moisturizer, etc. I tend to stick with it. It's one thing to make improvements but quite another thing to just discontinue it. I do purchase the roll on deodorants for our family as well as bath products, the skin so soft, eye liners, hand and body lotions, neck creams, eye remover, some jewelry items and the occasional household item or fashion item. Everything I've ever purchased over the years I have been pleased with and I think most of the items are well priced-especially when I compare them to other companies.

I hope the USA company turns it around. I hope Avon stays around a long time.

Will not use any Avon products as they are no longer on the cruelty free list. For awhile, they stopped, but they are back on the 'testing' lists.

I am an Avon girl, I buy their skincare products, makeup, nail polishes, colognes, body lotions etc etc etc. The quality is top knotch and their prices are reasonable. I particularly love their selection of nail colors and lip colors. My "rave" now is their new makup setting spray. I love it. I spray it on at 7am and my makeup not only stays on, it stays fresh all day. I get home at 7pm and my makeup is as fresh as it was when I applied it. I'm hoping this product stays around for a long time. If I have any problems with Avon, it's that sometimes you find a product that you love and then Avon moves on to something new and you never see the product in the brochures again. I do think Avon might have extended itself too far. They sell a lot of clothing, fashion jewelry, shoes, handbags, household goods now. I don't need Avon for stuff like that. Theirs shoes and bags are a bit "plasticky".

Where I live in Florida we have an Avon store attached to a one woman beauty shop. It is always crowded in there - she has tables with mirrors and lights so you can try on samples etc and ladies love to go there and spend some time trying things out - young and old alike. She has a booming business. I go there to buy Skin so soft and she calls me when they have specials on the products I commonly buy. Her daughter runs the Avon store part and also makes very pretty jewelry she sells there as well.

I recently ordered a couple bottles of gel nail polish from their website and part of my order was wrong. They sent a nail polish and a lip stick. I called and they were really nice. They told me to keep the lip stick as a gift and the nail polish came in two days.

I'm surprised they're still in business. In my area, I haven't seen or heard of Avon in about 10 years. Never see a catalog anywhere, never get one in the mailbox. I used to know several Avon ladies, now no one sells it.

Time marches on, women did and so did Avon. We order online now. The Avon lady is now the Avon rep and they go where large groups of women go. Two women in my office building sell Avon, a couple of women at my church sell Avon. A lovely lady who recently turned 80 sells through the hair salons in my town. I sold it when I was a sahm but I didn't go door to door and that was 20 years ago. My customers came to my house to place and pickup their orders. But I did take/deliver orders to the teachers at my kids school. Door to door was back in my mother's day.

Not where I live. I have a gentleman who sells Avon and I met him thru the catalog I found in my mailbox. On my block alone he had over twenty orders in two days, he said. With his great personality and outstanding service, he has a thriving business! PS. He is in his 70s
