Some of you are so advanced on this board, and I was hoping to pick your brains a little bit.
I want to post an avatar. I don't know how to find the url that's requested. If I find a photo on the internet and download it to my personal photos, and then post it from there, will there be any trace of my personal downloads? Would anyone be able to see where it came from and somehow see my personal photos? I know some of you have used Photobucket but I'm not going to get involved with it.
Number two, I posted a signature and saved it, but it's not showing up on my posts. I obviously did something wrong but I don't know what. Can anyone help?
Otherwise, I think I'm in pretty good shape around here. I'm just moving along slowly and the new board is starting to sink in.
Thanks in advance for your expertise. I need it!

Sunny, let's start with signature. It's located in your Personal Profile, Personal Information. (look to My Settings) quick link to the left.

What are you using - a PC, a Mac or an IPAD? I can help you with PC and can't help with MAC or IPAD from the avatar perspective.

If your signature is the quote at the end of your post, I see it. As far as your Avatar, I posted mine from my personal photos. I've tried to see if I could find any information through it, and I cannot. Someone else may be able to tell you more than this, but I feel safe.

“You don’t have to be famous. You just have to make your mother and father proud of you.”
Is what I am seeing as your siggy.
"Never argue with a fool. Onlookers may not be able to tell the difference."

Sunny, is this your signature?
“You don’t have to be famous. You just have to make your mother and father proud of you.”
~~ Meryl Streep
Cuz I can see it too

Yes! That is my siggy! Why is it that everyone can see it except me? That seems silly, doesn't it? Does it also show that Meryl Streep is the author of the quote?
Thanks Mz iMac!

Sunny, it shows that Meryl Streep said it and you should be able to see it once your post actually posts.

Okay, so now the avatar...
In my case, I found a picture of Courage the Cowardly Dog that I liked online and had to save a copy to my computer. So I clicked on the picture to SAVE AS. I checked the file extension before I finished the save. Make sure the picture is a .bmp or JPEG. QVC don't like .PNG.
I'm doing this in steps because I am redoing it myself so I can give you correct instructions.
