That's how it starts - little by little. It may be harmless now, but that just opens the door. I don't like it at all.

That's how it always goes. Ayn Rand was warning us of all this decades ago, and wow, she was rather prophetic. Nikita Krushchev (sp?) said in 1959 that little by little we'd change--with the USSR's help--and here we are like the old Russia.

Little changes, like little amounts of money, can really add up.

The USSR doesn't even exist anymore..his country has changed more than ours!

Everything changes...nothing stays the same (I think those are popular song lyrics, because it's TRUE!)

Re: Auto companies collecting data

I am always surprised when people are up in arms about this. This, folks, is what the patriot act was all about. And yet, Russ Feingold, who actually read the entire act, was the only one who voted against it, citing all these concerns. He was vilified at the time. I don't care if I have nothing to hide and the only thing they might find is that I have a passion for quacker factory sweaters and sales at Kohls. I DO NOT want anyone spying on me. Not exactly the American way....

I don't have anything to hide. But it's the principle - it's nobody's darn business.
