@AKgirl2 I had an email from Geico this morning; they will be offering a 15 percent credit when the policy is renewed. It said the average would be $150 for autos and $30 for motorcycles. Here's the blurb:
The GEICO Givebackwhich provides a 15 percent credit to all auto and motorcycle customers as policies come up for renewal, between April 8, 2020 and October 7, 2020. This credit will also apply to any new policies purchased during this period as part of our commitment to protecting the wellbeing of our customers.
@Caligurll ~ Thank you! I received the email this am as well. Every dollar helps!
wishing you and your family/friends well.🙋🏻

my s/o has nationwide.....he just received this email today.
Valued Auto Member,
Nationwide has helped our members through challenging times for 94 years, and together, we'll get through this one. To get relief in your hands quickly and simply during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are offering a one-time premium refund of $50 per policy for personal auto policies active as of March 31, 2020.
You don't need to do anything. Refunds will automatically be credited to your most recent method of payment (for example, automatic withdrawal, credit card, personal check) within the next 30 days, subject to regulatory approval. We are offering this rapid relief at a time when many drivers are making the right choice to stay off the road and remain home to help "flatten the curve."
Learn what other steps Nationwide has taken to protect our customers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
If you're looking for additional ways to save money on your auto insurance, talk to your local agent to learn more about SmartRide. Not all products are currently available in all states.
We wish you good health, and thank you for trusting us to protect what matters most to you.

My friend has USAA and posted this on Facebook so for anyone who has car insurance with that company:
USAA is set to return $520 million to its members for driving less during the COVID-19 shelter-in-place orders. The company said in a statement that the payment is a result of data showing members driving less during the "Stay Home, Work Safe" orders across the country. Every member with an auto insurance policy in effect as of March 31, 2020 will receive a 20% credit on two months of premiums in the coming weeks.
Yes, I have USAA & just got the email today!

Hubby and I have been with farmers Insurance since 1978. Never had a ticket or an accident or a claim EVER in all those years....I have home, earthquake and two cars insured by them. Never been given a discount. They just raise the rates each year.
