I heard of this when a booktuber mentioned it and I think it's interesting almost like a Dr. Phil show. An author had her first young adult published and she was advised not to engage with any goodreads reviewers but she couldn't help herself. The article is a little bit long but I think it's worth reading if you have the time. The other link is to the book on goodreads. For me maybe it wasn't a good idea for the author to do this but I totally get why she would want to.
