qualitygal, the film with Albert Finney was Two for the Road, and it's one of my all-time favorites. Whenever I watch it I cry. And the Henry Mancini sound track was gorgeous!

I've heard it described as the trinity of chic - Jacqueline Kennedy, Audrey Hepburn, and Grace Kelly.

Does anyone remember the movie "The Turning Point" with Anne Bancroft and Shirley Maclaine, about the former ballerinas? Apparently Audrey was the first choice and desperately wanted to make the film, but only if Grace Kelly would come out of retirement to co-star. Grace's husband thought otherwise, and film history was not made. It's a nice movie as made, but imagine if the other casting had worked out.

Also, I see no one has mentioned yet that one of the photos is from her Blackglama Mink ad. Her son mentioned on one of the shows that years later she regretted doing that campaign.

I just read online that she had a love affair with William Holden when they were making Sabrina. He was married and he would not leave his wife and Audrey was heartbroken. The article said he had many affairs and his wife didn't care about any of them, but the one with Audrey. I am surprised . . . I don't know why, but I am.
