Didn't know they had earthquake over there.

Course, I'm not a native of the SouthWest either.

You think of quakes being across the world except for that famous one San Francisco long time ago.

Do you live close to the house in the news ?

They're never gonna solve who took that poor woman and why.

@SharkE

I lived in Santa Monica CA at the time of the 6.7 Northridge Quake.

The house in the news is 115 miles south of me...although Phoenix IS involved in the search.     I believe many details are being "held back".   di

We have a high-wind warning here in Colorado. I'm going to be praying that my trees don't blow over! ...and my fence, too!

How are you winds today?

We had stronger than expected but not terrible.

@rockygems123

At this moment the winds are not too bad, gusting about 45 mph according to the news. But earlier we had some 65-70 mph gusts that went on for about an hour! I kept looking out my window for falling 'things' like trees and fences. But so far my property seems okay.

What about in your area? Windy?

There was a deady crash south of Colorado Springs and they are saying the wind may have been a major cause of the crash. It looks really bad on the local live news. The Interstate is closed for that part of the highway.

It says "30 cars" so I guess that doesn't include all of those tractor trailer trucks.

Another person has died from that pile-up crash. Total 5 dead now but that could go up.
