@CalminHeart Yes, obscene language was used to describe specific posters, in the title no less. They used creative spelling to get past the software blockers. This was not a case of people disagreeing within a discussion. There were no responses. The mods did what was necessary.

Cherry, what thread is involved here?  Were these offenders regular posters here, or were they perhaps trolls?

The OP was registered as new but they were familiar with the posters here and called them out by name. Troll or unstable in some way in my opinion.

I have no idea what was posted. Sounds like it was really ugly. Good it was reported and removed. How would one know that a poster is permanently banned?

When I signed on this AM the title of the thread was there but the actual content had already been deleted.  A little while later the whole thing was gone.

What time does this stuff usually occur? I never have come across anything close to obscene from a poster, new or seasoned. This is not the first time I have come across a thread like this, why are these posters being singled out by a new poster?

Not recently, but as a West Coaster who is sometimes online late at night I’ve seen plenty of obscene posts over the years. They have been in the overnight hours when the East Coast is typically already asleep.
