You can walk into any Walgreen's, CVS or Rite Aid and receive the vaccine. Probably would have to pass a drug store or two to get to the mall.

Oh well, guess they are making sure that the vaccine is accessable.

Then why start a thread wondering if they are qualified? You don't have to be interested in the "service" nor interested in being injected to just ASK.

I'd be concerned about proper handling, keeping the vaccine at the proper temperature. I wonder if those who, despite being fully vaccinated, are contracting Covid received improperly handled vaccine.

Vaccines aren't 100% effective. Even if you've been vaccinated, you can still get the disease. Usually nowhere near as deadly, though.

Oh I remember that!  As soon as the general population was opened up, I pounced on the computer, desperate to get a vaccination.  Took me over 3 weeks of hunting (I was trying avoid the mass vaccination) to get a pharmacy reasonably close to me.  Finally got it at the Rite Aid a block and a half away. Now it's very easy to get it online.  But they don't advertise that fact very much.  Now when I'm at that same store, the chairs in the vaccine waiting area are empty!

My SIL along with the Health Dept were the ones who set up vaccinations in a large facility here eary in the Spring.

After a couple of people had severe reactions immediately after...

They had an ambulance and Medics at the facility until they stopped giving them there...

NO WAY would I let someone in a mall inject me...

I have heard some announcements in Walmart that vaccines are available and free of charge.  Reminds me of the "Blue Light Special" days back shopping at Kmart when they announced what had just been marked down and the location.

At least the vaccines are more convenient for anyone who cares to get one.

This past Saturday while I was in Walmart, they had an ongoing announcement that vaccines were available now in the store.

On our morning news a Craft Brewery offered Covid shots and a complimentary beer or  root beer with the shot. What ever and where ever works? They did not say who was sponsoring the Covid shots.

DD and I went to our local mall today---this is the 2nd time I have been there since this covid thing started----so many people there so I wore my mask--but there were so many empty stores and not many that were open were in the best of conditions---just plain messy and disorganized with long lines waiting to check out----plus it being the 4th of July weekend with sales, I kind of expected alot of people. The shortage of staff was truly amazing---no wonder it was a hot mess. Had a short list but ended up leaving with nothing,  after maybe an hour. I remember going and spending a few hours ----very sad to me. Probably be the last time I go there. Yes I know the state of the life these days---but still makes me sad.
