@Kachina624 , just curious....do you have children and if you do, are you close to them?

@Carol Diane    My son died in 2006 at age 37.

Since you have said you are in your  50's I rather doubt this. He would be 50.

@RetRN    Now, Nurse Cratchet, I'd like for you to show me where I said I was in my 50s.

@SilleeMeehope you have a hand held shower, that would work better lol.

How about a bidet? Did i spell that correctly?

@Sage04

No bidet. But I seem to have all the time in world lately so taking a shower several times a day could become a pastime affair...LOL!

@SilleeMee :  it would be fun to do so with your Golden girl!

@SilleeMee, I always have a supply of flushable wipes.  People I´ve spoken to said they would take a shower.

Oh no ! you can't flush those things ! I'm saving you a fortune in money and in down time from when the truck has to come out and pump out your line at the cost of hundreds, if you can even get them to come out they're backlogged with people who have already done that.

If it's clogged all the 'stuff' in your pipes will have no place to go and will back up in your shower, sinks, (kitchen too), tub, commodes. You'll have to live with this bacteria and smell in your house till you can get a company to come out and unplug your pipes.

Good luck !

I agree that is a #1 DAD no matter how old his child is or himself , seems whatever is needed for the family  he will do his best to help out.

Hope his family knows how lucky they are to have a Dad and probably a Grandpa like him.

I disagree @Kachina624 , the country has turned extremely selfish. I would do the same thing for a child of mine.

@JaneMarple    I'd say it was the "child" who was selfish and inconsiderate.  TP seems to appear for those who search diligently for it, or who are lucky.

@Kachina624

I'm still waiting for it to "appear" but alas, no luck so far!

I don't know whether to feel guilty or lucky.  When you live where bad winter winds blow (like today)..you stock up on everything.  Doing laundry today I just checked my 2 Big  (the big size stores stock) 10 - 12  ?  rolls.   which have been in the basement for 15 years.  LOL

Those are emergency supplies - while I continually replenish bathrooms whenever I see getting low.  Food freezer = the same.

@fthunt

You really are fortunate to have storage space for those supplies.  Many people live in apartments or small houses and just don't have the extra space to keep all of that extra TP on a regular basis.  And where I live, there are NO basements.
