These pictures of the spacecraft arriving back on Earth safe and sound are far more meaningful to me than watching them lift off and orbit our planet. I'm all for space exploration but this trip was a nail biter. Thank you Elon.

A dolphin welcome crew!

Some curious dolphins seemingly wanted to give a personal "welcome home" to the Crew 9 astronauts, moments after they splashed down off the coast of Florida.

That was so awesome to watch. Timed PERFECTLY. 6:57pm. One minute hurling thru space at 17,000 mph and the next entering earth's atmosphere, the parachutes initiated the slowing down upon entry - it was just as perfect as could be, and then the DOLPHINS.

I felt very emotional and proud, I teared up.

The dolphins are awesome!

Any mention of Musk which has been done by at least two posters needs to stop unless people want the thread to turn political. He is a highly polarizing figure.

So? He is still a highly partisan figure with very poor popularity wit most of us.
