Astronauts are Buckled In!

[ Edited ]

I'm excited to watch the SpaceX launch.  But now there's a tornado warning.  So paws crossed!

We must have posted about the launch at the same time.

Do you want me to delete my thread, so that there aren't competing threads?

You couldn't pay me enough to be an astronaut, plus you have to be very smart.  God Bless them!

It won't be long now. A little over an hour and 20 minutes if things go as planned. 👨‍🚀 👍

I've always loved astronauts.  A little crazy, a lot brave, and a ton smart.

"The Right Stuff" is one of my all time favorite films.

The space suits look different.  I am sure there is all sorts of new technology involved.

I will feel better when they are in space.  I hate to watch the lift off.

I am terribly claustrophobic so the idea of being in that rocket or on the space station is terrifying for me.

Godspeed.

@Mersha

Yes, I am also extremely claustrophobic so even if I were smart enough, brave enough, and crazy enough I could never pass the preliminaries!

Re: Astronauts are Buckled In!

From the start of the '60s, astronauts have been my cherished heroes.  I admit to a bit of hero-worship going on with my love of these great adventurers.

Godspeed.
