Re: Asking for Prayers...Job Interview Tomorrow

Thank you all who replied and are praying for me. The interview was intimidating. I know the only reason I could answer their questions was because of previous experience and by nature I am very detail oriented. My past experience required I know a tremendous amount of state and federal regs related to that industry in addition to OSHA. I have very limited knowledge specific to this industry but given the opportunity I would love to learn them! Happy Mothers Day! I too am praying for wonderful employment opportunities for LeoGrl, JJ and elated, too.

Re: Asking for Prayers...Job Interview Tomorrow

Good for you that you made the second cut! I interviewed candidates along with a couple of other members of management and really tried my best to make the candidate comfortable by being the first to speak in a soft tone doing my best to set the tone. I would give the candidate an opportunity to chat a couple of minutes on whatever was on that candidate's mind (traffic getting there, weather, our beautiful facility) and then I would let them know we would be proceeding to the interview at that point.

It helped them get settled and breathe. I made sure to smile and have direct eye contact.

Personally, I wasn't a fan of this type of interviewing, but it was done this way so I had to participate.

Re: Asking for Prayers...Job Interview Tomorrow

I found out Wednesday afternoon I did not get the job. The HR person that called implied the position was filled by an internal transfer. Good news is I do have another interview tomorrow, Friday at 2:30pm I will post tomorrow night about that interview. Please continue to pray for me, thank you and God Bless

Re: Asking for Prayers...Job Interview Tomorrow

Please accept my apology for not posting right away about not getting the job. I have to admit I was/am quite disappointed and just could not bring myself to type those words and then look at them. Thank you for understanding
