A return that may not be in very good shape!

Exactly what it says on the "as is" page:

"The items below may be customer returns, vendor samples, discontinued inventory, or on-air displays. They're not in the original manufactured condition & may not be new, but QVC's return policy still applies. You'll receive detailed information with your purchase."

Hi Floppo - I just found this description - good thing is, their return policy still applies.

The items below may be customer returns, vendor samples, discontinued inventory, or on-air displays. They're not in the original manufactured condition & may not be new, but QVC's return policy still applies. You'll receive detailed information with your purchase.

If you click on an "as is" item it should tell you all of the possible reasons it has landed in the "as is" section.

Usually, the items are fine (in my experience, anyway.)

I think that means it's a returned item & you get it in whatever condition it's in. I've never bought any "as-is" items & have heard both raves & rants about it on these boards. So it could be great or it could be a hot mess, I guess.

VCamp---it's the "hot mess" part that deters me especially since I was tempted to buy a pair of Ryka shoes. Don't know what condition they will be in ...used?tattered? irregular sizing? No thanks! But thanks for your input!

Floppo, I took a chance last week on an 'as is' pair of Sketchers GoWalk 'Cadence' canvas slip ons in Black, I got them the other day and they dont even look like the were ever out of the box. All the tags and a, dust cover lol? (nylon pouch) were all there. Along what posters have said they can also be used on air display but like I said, these dont even look like they were touched. I have seen reviews on handbages that have said this also.

Anyway, I had a good experiance, but yes I was nervous until they arrived. It was a great score. Good luck if you go for it...

I think almost everything I've ordered from As Is has been discontinued inventory. Many of the Honora items come with the satin pouch and everything.

The listing will give you the original item information. Look it up, and see if it's still offered in regular inventory. That will give you a clue.
